The period piece tells the history of the gay rights movement, starting with the Stonewall Riots in 1969.

He was one of the first fighters for gay's rights in 1972 in Arizona. He achieved worldwide recognition and legalization of same-sex marriage with his associates together. The second protagonist of the series is African American Ken. He fought in Vietnam and helped HIV-positive people. They led an army of Protestants and fought with them.
