The plot of TV Mini-Series “Wako” is based on real events that occurred at Mount Carmel Center near the Texas city of Waco. The struggle of the feds with the totalitarian sect “Branch Davidians” went into a hot stage in 1993 (Waco Siege). Employees of the FBI took a ranch of sectarians in a two-month siege, which ended in a fire. More than eighty adherents of the cult perished. The story told from different perspectives will include the impressions of the surviving members of the sect, previously not widely publicized and going against the official version of events.
