In Seattle, all firefighters are also trained EMTs and the crew at Station 19 is second to none. Working in 24-hour shifts, these professionals spend so much time together that they build relationships unlike any others.
Station 19 follows a group of heroic firefighters at Seattle Fire Station 19 - from captain to newest recruit - as they risk their lives and hearts both in the line of duty and off the clock. These brave men and women are like family, literally and figuratively, and together they put their own lives in jeopardy as first responders to save the lives of others.
Station 19 season 1 tells about the fire station in Seattle and the men and women working there who face the danger every day. They constantly spend time together, substituting their shoulder and covering their backs. Therefore, it is not surprising that the team has a very special relationship. Young Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) is sure of herself as a fireman. She followed in the footsteps of her father, Captain Pruitt Herrera (Miguel Sandoval). She has an old friend with whom she had a romance in school – a policeman Ryan Tanner (Alberto Frezza). A newcomer appears at the station № 19 – former anesthesiologist Ben Warren (Jason George). Lieutenant Jack Gibson (Grey Damon) is one of the experienced firefighters. He is full of passion, energy and utterly fearless. He considers his mentor Captain Pruitt. Another young quiet newbie is Victoria Hughes (Barrett Doss), and Travis Montgomery (Jay Hayden) is the soul of the company. Dean Miller (Okieriete Onaodowan) is a very charismatic person. Another woman working at the station is Maya Bishop (Danielle Savre). She used to go in for sports and won a gold Olympic medal. The firefighters’ paths also intersect with colleagues – doctors, in particular the head of the surgical department Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo). When Captain Pruitt becomes ill in a fire in the episode 1, Andy must prove to herself and others that she is ready to take his place. However, the love triangle between her, the main “star” of the station Jack and a childhood friend Ryan can greatly complicate the situation in the new episodes of Station 19.Read more »
Station 19 season 2 is a continuation of the drama, dedicated to the daily feats and heart-felt experiences of firefighters from Seattle. The renewal for season 2 is quite logical, because now “Station 19” occupies the third place among all ABC dramas, conceding only to Grey's Anatomy and The Good Doctor. It should be noted that there will be more crossovers with the “Grey's Anatomy”, because gifted doctors and brave firefighters will intersect in every possible way to save lives. Station 19 team will fight the consequences of a terrible fire, their boss will fight for his life, and the newcomer with the mysterious past will join the team of brave firefighters.Read more »
A change in the project’s show runner is expected - ABC attracted Krista Vernoff, who is already working on an adjacent series "Grey's Anatomy". She will replace Stacy McKee on this post. Season 3 still describes the daily routine of the heroic firefighters of the 19th part of the Seattle Fire Department. There are no main and secondary characters. From rookie to captain, they all do their job, save lives, risking their own.
