The TV series tells about the early days of the Iraq war (the US invasion of Iraq in March 2003). The plot - the invasion of Iraq through the eyes of soldiers of the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion USMC. 1st Expeditionary Force entered Iraq from Kuwait to Baghdad and made way through the center of the country - directly from Mesopotamia.
