Based on the legendary rivalry between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford which began early in their careers, climaxing on the set of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" and evolving into an Oscar vendetta.

But they starred together only in one film “What ever happened to Baby Jane?” Both Actresses were gifted from God and had incredible talent. In addition, they both had a very complex character. Women were leaders by nature and they don't not accustomed to losing. During filming, the Actresses try to frame each other, to insult and humiliate. They fought on the set, like the boys in the alley. In general they tried to make each other bad in any way. Director Richard Aldrich looked at them and thought: will they kill each other or not? But their enmity did not stop filming of the series. Because it looked very real, not simulated. Instead the stunning acting, the audience saw the real emotions of women, which hate each other. The film enjoyed of great success and was awarded numerous awards and prizes in the end.
