
Band of Brothers











The miniseries follows Easy Company, an army unit during World War II, from their initial training at Camp Toccoa to the conclusion of the war. The series is based on the book written by the late Stephen E. Ambrose. Band of Brothers is executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, the series won 6 Emmy Awards.
The series tells about combat path E company from training camp in Toccoa, Georgia, through the Normandy landings and the Siege of Bastogne to the end of the war. At the beginning of the series shows the preparation and the Allied landings in Normandy. A group of young volunteers began military training. The boys become soldiers of the US Army paratroopers . Under the command of Lieutenant Sobel new members of the Company E goes from new recruits to the military elite. In the learning process between Sobel, whom the soldiers immediately disliked, and Lt. Winters erupted mutual rivalry. After training, the soldiers begin their journey with Airborne landing on enemy positions. Paratroopers fall under the terrible fire, because of which no one has landed at the point of collection, and many were without weapons and ammunition. Lieutenant Winters combines the lost soldiers in the squad, trying to help soldiers find their Company.
