When Harvard philosophy professor Jack Griffin fails to get his dream job and reluctantly moves back to Ohio to work as a high school Advanced Placement Biology teacher, he makes one thing very clear: he will not be teaching one bit of biology. Instead, realizing he has a room full of honor roll students at his disposal, Jack recruits the kids to help him mentally break his job-stealing nemesis and win back the position that's rightfully his.
A.P. Bio season 1 is a modern American comedy TV series created by Seth Meyers, Michael Patrick O’Brien and Lorne Michaels for NBC channel. The plot tells about a very clever, but extremely cynical professor of philosophy, Jack, who immensely adores his work at the University of the Ivy League. However, having lost the place of his dream, Jack is forced to change the field of activity. Now he is a biology teacher in high school. But the protagonist of the series A.P. Bio made it clear to everyone from the 1st episode that the profession of a teacher is not a priority for him. Moreover, he does not aim to teach some kind of biology to children in high school. Realizing that there is a class at his disposal that is full of pupils famous for their excellent knowledge and occupying places of honor, the teacher decides to use schoolchildren for personal purposes.
